MARYVALE IS A CLOSED CAMPUS. No student may leave campus until the end of the school day.
A MESSAGE FROM THE DEAN: Students, make sure you are using crosswalks when coming to school. Do not get out of the car in the middle of the road. Be safe, be a Panther.
GRADUATING SENIORS: There is a government program available to help provide financial assistance for college. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid or (FAFSA) provides money to help you pay for college. If you need help completing your FAFSA please see Miss Moore in the counseling office on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 until 2:00.
STUDENTS: Free Physicals for next year’s athletics, JROTC and band are available on Saturday, April 7th @ 1:30pm.
Stop by the athletics office for more infor-mation and to pick-up your packet.
SENIORS: Please start clearing your debts in the bookstore TODAY.
April 3rd is cap/gown distribution during both lunches for those who have cleared all debts in the bookstore.
VARSITY CHEER: Tryouts will start TO-DAY through Thursday, March 29 from 4:00 to 5:30 P.M. in the cafeteria. If you are interested in being a varsity cheer-leader, you must attend tryouts and must be cleared to tryout. We hope to see you there.
SENIORS: If you are community college bound, Maryvale and Phoenix College will be hosting one more opportunity for you to take the placement test on campus. Please sign up at the front desk in the counseling lobby to participate Saturday, April 7th @ 8:00 AM . You need to have your MEID, which is your student # for any Maricopa Community College, in or-der to participate. See your counselor for more information.
TRAVEL CLUB: There will be a travel club meeting Thursday, March 29th right after school in room 711. If you are interested in going on the field trip to Universal Stu-dios in California, please plan on attend-ing this short meeting on Thursday in room 711.
NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY: There will be a quick meeting this Wednesday at 2:45pm in room 100. All seniors who need community service hours need to be present. We will cover the Stride for Sight for the Foundation for Blind Children. Remember, all community service hours MUST be completed by March 27th. No exceptions allowed.
